OMFG, ZUKO DOESN'T HAVE HIS SCAR!!!!!!11

I know, I know. I have my reasons. *ahem* Numbah One: I became a Zutarian as of "Crossroads" (you know, when the pairing actually, well, made sense)...when she was going to HEAL HIS SCAR. Hence, the subject has always been tied to Zutara for me. I mean, now that they're buddies and have all this free time, you think it'd occur to her: "Huh, I was gonna heal his scar once upon a time. And I might have used the oasis water, but there's a WHOLE FRIGGIN' POND up there in the North Pole...we even fought by it once!"

Er, I guess that's all my reasons, kinda wrapped up. I know it's a big part of his character and all, but...I dunno. I just see Katara healing it eventually. *shruuuuug*

Onto teh arts. It is so hard to draw people smiling in a semi-realistic manner and not having them end up looking, well, utterly stupid. Gaah. So they're older here, I'd guess early twenties, and at some function or another, when someone got a "snapshot" of them, as it were. You know: "Hey, Zuko! Katara!" and then they look, and BAM! This picture. Or at least, that's how it worked out in my head. You should see the sketch...I like it more, but I DO NOT HAVE A SCANNER WTF WTF WTF!!!! >_< Oh, well. I'll survive. *sniff*

Although...if anyone wants, I can upload the lineart so someone else can do the coloring more justice. I do not color well. I blame it on my wayward youth when I rejected coloring books because of my fervent hatred of crayons. I also loath shading because my shading looks like, well, shit. SO. Feel free to make it look better. Heh.
