Sooo, I may have commandeered my brother's computer to start doin' some style experiments! I'm tryin' to work out how I'm gonna illustrate a comic that I am actually, fer reals this time, gonna make, and I have decided that this is not the way, hahah.Though I like this alright, I don't really like how clean the lines are. I'm gonna try somethin' next time with some line-like strokes in a still painterly style. Unless my bro just never needs his machine, though, don't expect too much from me 'til mine's fixed, haw.
Also, I'm not a natural green haired pony. I dyed it fer a time, but I think I've decided I like it better my natural color! I may throw some more color in there eventually. I'm also diggin' my shorter tail an' mane!

Now when I make more Dayside themed confectionary items I am going to have to use chocolate icing hahaha. Still loving the texture, although I agree with you on the lines. Still Dayside looks pretty nice here haha. I take it this means you got a long overdo hair cut?

You could have just asked. I could have done a Dayside in Discordia batch of cupcakes/cookies. You know -- smothered in chocolately-rainy goodness.

An' I like the direction it's headin'. The problem's just that I don't know exactly what I wanna do with it. I have four months for it to grow out, so I figure I've got at least two more shots to figure it out before school starts, hahah. I like it more now than it was when I left school though, for sure.

Perhaps the lines are too clean for you, but I think this is great! Yeah, I wish I had more to say, but finals have robbed me of that.

Hahah, it's okay. An' I may still do somethin' with lines, I'unno. I really do love good, clean line work, but I feel like I can never pull it off well. I feel like I do better with messy or painty things. Perhaps that simply means I need to keep trying at the lines though!
