You've probably heard me mention before how much I like MegaMan, and I've noticed in the last several months that there are projects online involving fanmade games.... I mean, actual videogames created by fans, based on the Megaman series. One such game, Megaman X: Eclipse, is in the early stages of production, and I decided to lend my skills to the cause
helping to design the new series of Mavericks in the game.Scorch Raptor is a lot like Burn Dinorex (No... NOT "Mattrex"... I refuse to call him by that name!) but smaller and faster.
I had been holding off on this one for a while... several months really. I'm currently working on two more Mavericks at the same time. I had hoped to have eight done and release them all at once, but now that I'm working again I don't know if I'll be able to do the rest
But I wanted to go ahead and post it here for those not in the know. It was fun to be able to help out some fellow MegaMan fans.... and I do hope I can draw more for them, depending on how much spare time I have in the future.

I agree, Burn Dinorex is the best name ever. Though this guy should of been named Scorch Raptorque. He makes me think of Motorcycles for some reason.

LOL, yes but I'm not exactly in charge of the maverick names for this game. The guys behind Eclipse have already got the names of their mavericks. Scorch Raptor's level is just about finished, and hopefully the demo will available in the near future. You can go to Megaman Eclipse's Youtube channel and watch a video of the Scorch Raptor battle (work in progress). It's looking pretty good so far!

I'm not 100% certain, but the next maverick we work on might be based off of a bird-like creature.

I have an idea for a Maverick you could create: Deelceagull, the name is based from Beelzebub and DLC (Down Loadable Content) and the animal he is, a Seagull.

I still want to do the last four mavericks I came up with, but somewhere along the way I wanted to help out the guys working on this project and do a couple designs for them as well

A interesting Maverick design that uses the Fire attribute. I would like to see a attempt of a chimera based one that uses three different styles of attack though. Still nice. Instant fave!
