Another collab with LeafsFan79 , and this one involves the Motion Picture Association of America rating system. A few residents of ToonWorld talk about the ratings, and what each specific rating means.

1. Otter siblings Peanut and Jelly explain that movies with a G rating are for General Audiences, which means anyone can watch them.

2. The Limbless Wonder, Rayman, discusses the PG rating. PG means that some parts of the movie may be inappropriate for children, and parents should know more about the film before taking their kids to see it.

3. Jo Kobayashi of the Mossflower Revolutionaries talks about the PG-13 rating. If a movie is rated PG-13, it means that the movie may contain content not suitable for children under 13. Parents must take strong caution when taking their kids to PG-13 films.

4. Explaination of the R rating is left to Gordon "ALF" Shumway. The Melmacian knows that nobody under 17 is allowed to see an R-rated film without adult supervision. R-rated movies contain scenes not appropriate for young viewers.

5. Blacky Levine explains the last and most explicit rating: NC-17. Movies with an NC-17 rating are for adults only and contain lots of adult content, so nobody 17 or under is permitted to watch them.

There was another MPAA rating that was used during the 1960's up until the 90's. It is the "X" Rating, but that's pretty much the same as NC-17.
