Interestingly, while you have it as MJOLNIR vs Mjolnir, the weapon the MJOLNIR wearer is using was a part of Project GUNGNIR. Guess what Gungnir is?

Mmmhmm. Project GUNGNIR also produced the GUNGNIR Armour System for the MJOLNIR Platform. GUNGNIR Armour is meant for integrating with the W/AV M6 G/GNR and improving effectiveness with the weapon.

Thor can crush mountains with his bare fists and with Mjolnir he can literally destroy planets if he puts his full force in it. He can match the Hulk even when holding back, and has a ridiculous amount of powers and abilities at his disposal. He has resisted blasts that could obliterate the face of a planet and can walk in the core of the sun without being harmed. And you're telling me a simple super soldier with power armor is a match for him? He's pretty capable, but they're on a COMPLETELY different level. Dude, you're seriously mistaken.

one could argue just as easily that Thor is nothing more than a brute with not the modesty and far too much arrogance to take on a tactile mind like the Chiefs. He's far more than a simple super soldier. or perhaps you've never read anything along the lines of Ender's Game or Captain America.
Personally I'm not on one side or the other. It's a match up I'd love to see. each has many strengths and weaknesses and neither should be so easily dismissed.Β
It's easy to side with thor because he has the powers of a "god" but personally I like to think the mere mortal man has more heart, a character like thor thinks himself above death, hes a god after all. but the chief faces the danger knowing he can killed.Β
It's a lot like batman vs superman. no ones ever "right" when they argue about that either. it comes down to who you're Β a bigger fan of. they're fictional characters after all.

I respect your opinion, but you don't know Thor very much, either. Thor, as a Norse God, is completely mortal. They live unaturally long lives, but they can die, and Thor knows it, and he throws himself into battle with bravery. I know he's been portrayed as a brute, but Thor, the TRUE Thor, is also a tactical mastermind, maybe not on the level of Captain America, but think about it: he has seen thousands, and thousands of years of combat and fighting, he's a warrior god, I think he'd give quite a nice tactical battle against the chief. You're right about his arrogance though, and he'd probably underestimate the chief maybe as another Iron Man since he doesn't know him very well. But in the end, I don't think the Chief would have enough firepower to take down Thor, nor the physical strenght. After all, the guy can withstand the core of the sun and can face ridiculously powerful beings like Galactus solo. Interesting matchup, nonetheless.

very true. but this is Marvel's Thor. Not the norse god Thor. different uniform altogether.Β
The idea was to pit together characters from my fav words, comics and video games.Β
Thor out of norse mythology and plunked into the marvel universe is just another costume. much like the chief is just another suit. the match up couldn't just as easily been the universal soldier vs ares from marvel comics.Β
the only reason i pit them against one another was after the armour and hammer really. like i said, I just like to see both sides of the whole "this guy would win!". same thing goes for the batman vs superman arguement, I have my personnal belief in who would win, but totally understand the logic and reasoning behind the other. but good points for thor, friend. ANOTHER!

maybe. maybe not. John's enhancements and armour put him on par, if not over, captain america and iron man combined.Β

na dude, john's enhancements makes him somewhat on caps level but he does not have the shield and iron man can ez hack and shut down john's armor, and has tons of weapons systems , and is more intelligent then john.

like I said. I wouldn't count him out.
They're from 2 different universes. And I wasn't talking about iron joining the fight. Simply that John without armour is already a super soldier. With armour he's got shields, jet pack, cloak, etc capabilities.Β
So strength he's a match, He's got heightened intelligence, maybe not stark level, but join has got a brilliant tacticians mind, stark isnt a tactician.Β
I think it's more of an even fight than one or the other would win in a landslide personally
