Description I felt like doing a 32x32 portrait, so here's one using the Pico-8 palette.

I tried to keep it simple, but ended up spending more time on it than I expected.

Thanks. I just tried to squeeze as much detail into a small-scale portrait as possible.

Not coding in it, but thought I'd try making something with the palette.

The use of the colors are super rad!

I need to take some time & do something in pico 8 already!

It's not a perfect palette. It's missing a true violet for example, although the greens are OK. It's good to try new things and see what they have to offer though, so I'll use this and other palettes more in the future.

I think having a palette that is less than perfect gives it a special charm and forces you to find interesting color schemes to work around it. I used to hate the NES palette for it's browns but over time I think I've grown to kinda love it because it forces me to get creative.

That's the good thing about limitations. They push you to try different approaches.
