"Charlie! Charlie! Charlie! it's always Charlie, I should have known!" Alex cried out "why did I do this!? Why!" he kicked the couch as hard as he could and the anger started to flow out off him only to be replaced with regret and pain. He collapsed and sat on the ground. His face buried in his hands "I hate me" he screamed. He took a picture of him and Charlie off of the table near the couch "and I hate you even more!" he threw the picture across the room, and started to cry again. "I should have kept quiet! I should have called Tom!"
~~~~~two days earlier~~~~~~~

Alex couldn't contain his joy. Ed was lying on his lap, he was still awake and he looked in Alex's eyes. "you are so sweet" he said for the 5 time that night, not with any reason at all except for seeing Alex's smile. He wasn't sure but he felt like it was possible that he and Alex might be more than friends one day and he might like it. And if Charlie and tom got together it would be so perfect. The music was so soft it was barely hearable. A grease mix started playing "summer loving, typical"  Ed grinned quietly. Alex looked up, did Ed just say that? He was so sure now, before he wasn't he felt like there might be something but he wasn't sure. Now he was.
Charlie entered the room, he had just gotten back from his movie night with Tom Liam and Michael where he and Liam almost kissed in front of Michael, Liam's boyfriend. Tom just sat there like 'oh big surprise another one bites the dust' cause that always happened, mostly with Alex's cruses, but a boy or girlfriend was always fun to for Charlie.
"Ed" Charlie said after Ed quickly got off of Alex's lap "hey how are you" he hugged him tied. Ed was quite surprised with Charlie "okay I guess" he stuttered "me and alex just watched some movies" "why didn't you join us then, I missed you" Charlie responded whilst hugging Ed once again. "well I don't like horror and that's the only thing tom watches. But I've got to go" he replied still surprised by the boy who just hugged him spontaneously, maybe Charlie was better than Alex…

"so…" Charlie asked after Ed left "getting cozy with Ed" alex knew he shouldn't say yes but he needed to tell someone "well kind off"  "tell me all" Charlie demanded playfully, Alex doubted but there was a unfightable urge to tell. "I think I'm in love" he said happy, he was so proud that Ed might like him so he described the whole night as detailed as he could.

~~~~~one day after that ~~~~~~~~
"you idiot" Tom yelled "you told Charlie?!" Alex looked at the ground "maybe it'll be okay" he said not believing his own words. "yeah right" Tom shouted "you know how stupid that was" "I just needed to tell someone, anyone!" "then you should have called me" tom was worried but anger was his way of expressing it he calmed himself "well he'll be here in just a sec so be as cute as you can for him" tom said. His head saying 'cause you wouldn't try being cute for me'
Ed Liam Charlie and Michael came back from the Tesco.  Liam looked sad "hi guys" he said trying to sound happy, which failed.  Michael walked in with a smirk on his face "I've got news!" he said chuckling. But Alex didn't care whatever it was  it wasn't as interesting as Charlie and Ed holding hands which they were. "we got to birds" Liam said like he enjoyed it , even though he was hurt as hell " lovebirds" Michael said happy because his relationship was more secure now.   Ed looked Alex in his eyes and felt the hurt but what could he do he loved Charlie. That wasn't his fault. Alex felt like crying "it's cold in here I'm going to try finding my hoody. "he said as an excuse to get out of the room. Tom really wanted to help Alex, he wanted Alex to be happy, even if it meant listening to Alex talking about how great Ed was. He had to be there for his love. "I think I know where it is" he said "I'll help you look for it"
