Thanks! If I thought I had a reasonable chance of re-doing the pose with less blur, I might try it - but, generally these "accidents" are what they are and are best left as they are (at least for a fairly inept photographer and model like me

This is cool--it's really interesting to look at the way men are photographed in mass media and then see something like this. Kind of a stretchy, content vulnerability (the pose is kinda fetal) going on here. Well done.
P.S. The one in yoga warrior pose--careful with your knees!

Thanks! I certainly hope to present something very different here from what I too see in the "mass media". Thanks for your concern, but so far, my knees are hanging in there, but my stress fractured leg is more questionable (it's healing along pretty good now, thankfully).

Hmmm, this one definately gets points for interest! It looks like it was an uncomfortable pose to take, but does create some interesting lines and angles. It reminds me not of a reclined pose (which usually look relaxed) but of an action pose, like a moment captured in the middle of a dance.

Well, yes, it was a bit of a "stretch"... I like your perspective. I suppose I called it reclined/"rest" because I knew that it was. But, given the perspective of the camera, I can see how the impression given may be something else.

The unique pose, the lighting from bottom left, the lines the arms and legs are making, the shadow on the back… just excellent!!!

That shot is just amazing!
Your imagination ceases to amaze me.
The shapes of your body and the way the lights and darks fall just emphasise it even more.
I could go into serious detiail about the sybolism I see here: the near fetal position, the darkness encroaching apon you, the head turned away to the side, the legs closing the lower body off while the upper body is open and exposed.

I love the way the lighting was done on this one. It's not at all like a "traditional" reference picture, but it's quite dramatic and gives and wonderful effect, just the sort of thing to get your creativity running!
