Found my first colour art of manga!Slan the other day, and was surprised to discover that she's pink rather than pale white-ish with green hair like in the anime. Which made me think, hey, maybe Miura is trying to appeal to to female audience with a pink WAI WAI SUPA KAWAII character...even if she's a member of the Godhand and unbelievably evil. XD;So...now I want to start a Slan-chan comic strip. =< And here's me attempting to:
a) Draw chibis
b) Draw Slan
c) She's going to get a teddy, hence Lord Fuzzball down in the bottom corner
So...don't eat me, because I'm sure the real Slan will take care of that for you. ;D

I think your version is the pink Slan that appears before Gatsu after the eclipse during the raid to the troll s cave cuz she s pink in that one!! BUt originally she s pale skinned and green haired I think!!! She looks cute, can I take her home?

*laughs* Yeah, there was this period of "...ohhh!!!" afterwards when I actually worked it out. XD; "Oh wait, that's right, corpses. Riiiight." But as I said in the comment below, I'm still trying to work out why Miura tones her skin when she's very pale. o.0
And of course you can take her home, but she'll probably eat all your junk food and then draw all over your walls. ;D

He he he he !! I know the feelling!! I ve been wondering a thing or two bout Mr. Miura myself!!! Thanks, I ll look after her and no worries bout the fridge, theres plenty of junk to go and my walls could use a little redecorating too!!

Actually...well, let's see, what part of the manga was it? Because if it was the part where Gatts rescues the women from the goblins, then that wasn't Slan's real form; that was her made out of a bunch of goblin guts; hence all the pinkness.
I saw the PS2 opening and it had both green-haired AND pink Slan due to that storyline.
Either way she's hot.
Oh yeah...what happened to Lord Fuzzball?! He looks like he's missing his left ear and arm!!

Yeah, I connected the dots after I came up with Slan-chan. XD; Um...
I still don't get why she's got toned skin and lightly toned hair, and then ends up being pale white with green hair though. It doesn't match up. But either way Slan-chan is stuck being pink now, and she'll chuck a tantrum if I try and change her colours.
Lord Fuzzball (who is sometimes referred to as Lord Fuzzington as well) was found in a garbage can and she refuses to give him up now. She also spotted her first cat out in that back alley way, which sparked her love of cat ears as well. ^_^ Yes yes!
