Drew this for my art journal assignment. We had to include any of our favorite poems and this poem is one of my favorites. I came across this poem back in English class in high school and I immediately was intrigued by it bc of its really dark theme compared to other poems that I studied. Tbh there's a lot of ways to interpret this poem and that's one of the things that makes this poem great!I drew Chara to represent the persona of the poem who kills their foe.
