It is different in a lot of ways though. There's his body shape and structure-- not even RESEMBLING a human. Good, very good. A fusion of goo and bone, this is seriously probably one of, if not the, most unique Gaster designs I've ever scene. I just really love how you can see the bones are providing a foundation for the weird black goo. It's like seeing bone and muscle and vein and heart exposed on a human, just plain wrong, only this guy's anatomy is totally screwed up in addition to that too.
The hands are really unique too. You can see just a hint of bone beneath it in the right one, but they look so malnourished and weird.
Gaster's head and torso are probably the most uncomfortable for me to look at, in the best way. Gaster's head seems a fusion of skull and flesh, due to the obvious cracks and eye sockets but the lack of a nose and inclusion of wrinkles, but it seems impossible to tell where the bone ends and the skin begins, if there even is skin to begin with. And the slit in his torso, that 'exposed internal stuff that should not be exposed' thing mentioned earlier is in FULL effect.
And all the little wrinkles and bubbles and warts on his upper torso!
God I love his design so much!!
