It's pretty good, since it's your first one!
But keep in mind that every time you color any photo or image, neither party will be black and white. Where is white or gray, put the color closer to him, (that "mirroring " it). For example, in the case of this photo, the color that would mirror the teeth, would be the color of the mouth, palate and gums, or red, but the teeth are white, beige place.
Try it and see for yourself how it makes the colors more realistic!
