Here's the final outcome for first skull piece to go on the side of my chest.Thanks to all for faving the original WIP to convince me to follow through with this one. It's always so hard to decide what to do when there's so many options. Especially when they're permanent decisions.

Hopefully it'll look as good tattooed. I just finished the stencil the other day so I'll get started on applying it soon.

Wow. I mean, how do you do it? Do you stick a hot needle with ink in under your skin? I havent got a tattoo so I dont know how it works...

I have professional equipment with power supply, tattoo machine, tube/needles, inks the works. I've done a few of those "Prison" style tats before when I was young but the quality can't compare. It's an amazing media to work on if you're an aspiring artist. Personally I think it's the most challenging form of art because there's no room for error.
As for doing it on myself, if I can survive the kink in my neck from reaching as far as can, it's all good.
I completed the initial line work last night and it's coming along pretty good. A little tender though today.
