Description
Duo and the rest of the group stood in front of the sign that read the name of the world and kingdom; Joilant, the kingdom of Joy in Lunatea.
“Duo,” said Dark, “You’re the world traveler, what is this place?”
“Sorry,” replied Duo, “This is a world I’ve never been in.”
The group then walked around Joilant to take in the sights and get their bearings right.  Around the kingdom, there were numerous rumors circulating about a mysterious boy stealing the element of Joy from the bell that was in the plaza; not to mention the rumors about the Egg Carrier.  Now that Duo thought about it, Robotnik headed towards the sea but he could’ve easily changed course and headed somewhere else.
“Duo,” Shadow suddenly said while looking in the direction of the bell in the middle of the plaza, “I’m sensing something that’s kind of like a Chaos Emerald.  I’m pretty sure that it’s one of the Elements.”
“But how is that possible?” Gallade said, “The Element was stolen wasn’t it?”
“It must leave behind a signature that I can sense.  If that’s true then Robotnik probably picked up the energy signatures the moment we arrived here.”
“Great,” said Dark scruffily, “Just great.”
“I think we should at least check out the bell,” Duo suggested, “maybe we can find out what exactly these elements are.”
Shadow nodded and the group gathered around him as he activated his Chaos Control and they disappeared; the group then appeared inside the plaza and it was obvious that someone had roped the area off.  The group approached the bell and Shadow placed his hand on it and pulled it back quickly.
“This is merely where the Element was sealed,” Shadow said, “if these give off the same signature as the Elements themselves, then Robotnik is probably somewhere at another place like this.  The energy is too weak to tell the full extent of the Elements but it looks like they may be the same as a mini Chaos Emerald.”
“HEY!!!”
The group turned around and saw a league of security guards approach them and they looked ready for a fight.
“What are you doing here?” one of the guards asked, “and for your sake, it had better be good.”
“Well,” said Duo, “we sensed an odd energy signature and it led here and we are here to investigate it.”
“Yeah right like that’s a likely story.  You just came here to get the Element but it’s not here; it was already stolen.  If you’re in league with that giant red ship then you all are coming with us.”
“Red ship?” replied Gallade, “You’ve seen it?”
“Who hasn’t?  It’s over the kingdom of Volk now at the Bell of Discord.”
Gallade’s eyes then started to glow with a soft blue light and the guard began to relax a lot.
“Which way is Volk?” said Gallade in a low tone.
One of the guards then pointed in the general direction and the group turned that way; way off in the distance was a large red ship floating and not moving and they immediately recognized the ship as the Egg Carrier.  Gallade then turned back to the group and waved his hand and in that instant, the guards fell to the ground fast asleep.  The group then headed off in that direction with only their knowledge of the direction of the Egg Carrier to guide them.

Meanwhile in the kingdom of Volk, which was basically a never ending war zone, Ivo Robotnik was examining a bell that gave off the same energy signature as a small Chaos Emerald only to discover that it was only a case for holding whatever it was that was there.  Ivo barely had to lift a finger to take over this kingdom; the information he had on the world said that Volk was a war-time kingdom and the best weapon are located there but all Ivo had to do was send out a battalion of Gunners and the rest was history.  Ivo looked over the bell and determined that someone else had opened the seal and took the energy source well before he got there.  Suddenly his communicator when off and Alice’s voice came through it.
“Master Ivo!” shouted Alice.
“Alice!” Ivo replied, “What’s wrong?”
“There’s another ship approaching us!  I’ll do what I can to hold it off but it looks like four beings were transported down near your location; be careful master!”
Ivo was surprised at another ship’s presence and he checked his information and only one ship popped up that could even belong to Lunatea, Ishras Ark.  Though it had no real weapons that would be a threat to the Egg Carrier’s shields even at its full power, the thought of someone threatening his air superiority was annoying.  Just then the doors to the area Ivo was in swung open and four figures walked in.  Ivo casually turned around to see who these four were and was a bit surprised that they looked little more like male children; they all wore black cloaks that had silver tie strings coming down from there laid back hoods.  One of the figures had colorless eyes, silver hair with a blue bandana tied on it, another was a furry humanoid creature that had black fur and was white around the mouth and at the tips of its long ears and had red eyes, the third had purple eyes and wore a matching jester hat, and the four and extremely shortest one was in the shape of a white ball that had black eyes and stubby limbs.  Ivo wasn’t impressed and addressed the figures as such.
“This is a very dangerous place,” Ivo said, “you should go home and play hero there little kids.”
As Ivo turned around, the figure with the purple jester hat suddenly appeared beside Ivo and kicked at him but he narrowly dodged it and jumped back.  The other three figures soon appeared at the figure’s side.  Ivo, being short on patience as he was, decided to give the kids a taste of terror and use his new armor that was powered by the Chaos Emerald he had; he had intended the new armor for the elimination of Shadow but he knew he wasn’t going to get anywhere unless he did something about the four kids in front of him so he took out a golden badge that was shaped into a V and he held it in front of him.  With a serious face he looked at the figures and shouted two simple words.
“Armor, activate!”
In an instant Ivo was surrounded in a golden light and when he emerged, golden armor surrounded him.  On his head, there was a helmet that covered his head save for his mouth and the front was like a golden visor while the rest of the head had black over it; his torso from mid-chest on up to his arm socket was golden while the middle of his torso which included his lower chest to his gut area was coated in red, his arms had a golden shoulder guards and golden gauntlets and the rest of his arms had black armor.  His legs had golden leg armor all the way down to his golden boots and his back had what appeared to be golden jet wings.  In his right hand appeared a golden crystal claymore that Ivo could swing with one hand and he set the blade on his shoulder and looked straight at the figures.
“Ok kids,” said Ivo, “before I proceed, I’d like to know the names of my victims.”
The one with the silver hair smiled and looked straight at Ivo.
“Heh,” said the boy, “I’m Corrin.  The furry one there is Klox, the one with the jester hat is Xnsith, and the small white one is Kybrix.  Believe it or not, you’re a dead man.”
Suddenly two oversized rings appeared in Klox’s hands and he aimed them straight at Ivo and shot energy at him.  Ivo used his claymore and slashed the energy into pieces but Xnsith came at from the side and kicked at him but Ivo countered by breaking his claymore into four pieces and using the Chaos energy, made them fly all around him firing energy beams in a manner that it form a protective ball and Xnsith had no choice to back off or he was going to look like Swiss cheese.  The pieces then came back together and reformed into the claymore and with another burst of Chaos energy from the Chaos Emerald, Ivo charged up his armor up so that he glowed with a yellow light and he disappeared from sight; only to reappear right in front of Kybrix and did a lightning fast slash but it was stopped by three lances in mid-air and Ivo looked over to see Corrin coming at him with three more lance floating at his side and he jumped back into the air and landed away from the four and held his claymore at the ready.  The four were about to charge again but they stopped at the sound of clapping and everyone, Ivo included, turned to see and man in a black cloak sitting on a ledge clapping while smiling.  The man had spiky silver hair and wore a bandage over his eyes while everything else about him was covered by the black cloak.
“Bravo, bravo,” the man said, “well played Ivo Robotnik.  Hmmm…Nobodies huh?  And here I thought things couldn’t get any better; I thought you all were wiped out along with the Heartless.”
Corrin regarded the man carefully and then he spat, “Scum, not a Heartless and not a Nobody but somehow is disgustedly in between the two; Blanks.”
“The name’s Raki,” the man said with a smirk, “so what are you gonna do?”
Raki then jumped down held up his hand and a cutlass that was fashioned to look like a bat wing with a black hilt took shape and he pointed it to Corrin.

Duo and his group meanwhile were in the kingdom of Volk but they were running into a lot of Gunners.  Duo had a bad feeling that something was about to happen when he saw another large ship fly towards the Egg Carrier.  Shadow didn’t want to waste time on the Gunners so he just unleashed a massive Chaos Lance and all Gunners were destroyed in an instant and the group continued running to where the two ships were stationed.  Watching all of the action unfold in a mysterious dark room was the hooded man named Z; he was paying particular attention to Duo and his party to size up their power.
“Master Z,” said Sho as he walked in, his face still hidden by his hood, “I have a question.”
“And I’m sure I have an answer,” Z replied.
“Why did you choose Robotnik?  Is it because he has the most technology of everyone to actually succeed?”
Z turned to Sho and laughed some and shook his head, “No no my dear apprentice; nothing as fancy as that.  I chose Robotnik simply because he was in the right place at the right time.”
Z then turned to the screen and switched views to Robotnik and saw him in a standoff with Raki and Corrin’s group.
“They are not supposed to be in that world, let alone fighting Robotnik.  Nobodies and Blanks, a large threat indeed; Sho, could you stop this conflict?”
“Master,” Sho said.
“I must apologize to you, I’ve been sending on this trips you don’t understand.  It won’t be long until I can leave this darkness but until then, I’m counting on you to take care of the leg work.”
“Its fine master, I don’t mind.  They will be dealt with shortly.”
Sho’s blue weapon then appeared and he opened a portal and stepped through it.  Z then turned back to the screen to watch the whole thing unfold.

Back at the Bell of Discord, Corrin, his group, Raki, and Ivo stood facing off each other; waiting and daring for one person to make a move.  Just then a portal opened on the other side of the area and everyone looked at it.  From out of the portal, the figure that Ivo recognized as Sho stepped out and carefully looked at everyone present.  After a moment, Sho’s weapon appeared in his hands and he got ready for combat.  Corrin took one look at the weapons and immediately recognized them as a threat.
“Keyblades,” Corrin said, “It’s been a while since I’ve seen one; this game gets more interesting by the minute.”
“What is this?” Raki said, “The Black Cloak Convention?”
Just then the doors to the area swung open again and this time everyone looked to the doors to see Duo and his group come in.  The moment Duo laid eyes on Raki, he drew his katana and made it transform while the others drew their weapons and got into combat position.  When Corrin saw Duo and his group, he smiled some and pointed to the group.
“And now the final and most important player of the game arrives,” Corrin said with a smirk.
“So this is all a game to you?” Raki said almost laughing, “Well now that I’ve seen the kings, knights, and pawns, I’m afraid that I’ll be the last king standing with all of my knights intact.”
Corrin almost laughed at the comment and looked right at Raki, “You?  The last king standing?  That’s a joke, you be one of the first to go.”
“Don’t sound so confident kid,” Ivo finally said, “I think you’ll go down before I do.”
“No matter the order,” Sho proclaimed, “Each one will fall.”
“Ha,” Duo shouted, “A game?  Okay then, all I know is we won’t be the first to go!  If you want, we can settle the game here.”
“Naw,” Raki replied, “If one rushes too quickly, it spoils the game; time to leave and regroup, see ya later Flash Master Duo.”
“As much as I hate to agree with a Blank,” said Corrin, “He’s right; time to go.  Duo, I’m eager to test you out so I’ll be back.”
Suddenly a portal appeared behind Raki and he jumped inside and disappeared while Ivo was teleported up to the Egg Carrier and he flew off.  Corrin and his group were teleported to the Ark and Sho opened a portal behind him and went inside and they too were gone.
“Tell me something guys,” Dark said, “Why is it that we don’t have a fancy mode of transportation and everyone else does?”
“Because we never got one you dumb cluck,” Shadow replied.
Dark was about to reply but he was quieted by Duo as they walked out of the area.
“Hey Duo,” Shadow said, “That group that addressed us, I sensed the energy like those of the elements coming from one of them.”
“That would mean,” Duo said and Shadow nodded.
“Yeah one of them has the Elements and from what I sensed, all of the Elements equal to about the equivalent of four Chaos Emeralds.”
Duo knew that that wasn’t good; with the power of four Emerald equivalents, who know what they could do.

Ivo went into the bridge of the Egg Carrier to find Alice waiting for him.  After confirming the success of his health and Chaos Armor, Ivo went to his monitor to look up the information on Nobodies and Blanks so that he could be ready to take them on next time.  On the Ark, Corrin was entertained to no end; he originally went to Volk to fight Duo but instead he got more participants to the game and that meant more fun for him and on top of that, he was still going to fight Duo like he wanted.  He was going wait for a while and then turn around and head straight for Duo’s group.

Z was sitting in a comforter watching what happened between the different parties and he began laughing.
“A game is it?  Oh my, this will be the most fun I’ve had in many years.”
Just then a white figure appeared and what sounded like a bell sounded and Z nodded.
“And now it looked like I can leave now.  Victory in this game of Five-Way Chess will be mine.”
