Today we head deep into the uncanny valley with a real skin on a customised Genesis Aiko shape.V5 Elite texture Nichole with Base Subsurface Shader applied to it. Eyes are a preset from Project EYEris.
Composed and rendered in DAZ Studio 4.6

I think the main issue is the pure white sclera and the expression being kinda flat. Β Otherwise, it would be rather stylized but okay.
Besides, it's far better than a lot of promo images for 3D characters.

cheers... I was very tempted to change the eyes, but I decided to follow-through on the original idea. If I used more Aiko 5 in the head and less toon shapes, would pass for a pretty decent character (or toon the skin instead I suppose)

Agreed. I haven't gotten into Daz 4 yet, but it's things like these that make me consider it.
