Description
Invasions rarely happen in winter, but somebody has to keep watch just in case... he is the Winter GuardianScene composed and rendered in DAZ Studio 4.5
Postwork - added gradient layer to image for a bit of vignettiing, blurred edges of clothing as they seemed to stand out a bit too much, and added tag.

When it comes to atmosphere you nailed it and just because of that this piece reminds me much of MCKrauss.

You're very welcome!
I don't know what it is about lone knights images, but wow- does it for me every time and this one has such a great atmosphere (literally and figuratively). You did a great job on it.

This is beautiful! I love how you used Stonemason's Winter Terrains. I bought it and haven't used it yet, was a bit overwhelmed by it. Nice postwork too!

Thanks...
...You'd be surprised how little of what you see is postwork in this one, Stonemason's scene elements rendered so well.
The main thing to remember is that once you've got your final camera angle set for render, rotate any cloud planes or snow boxes to face the camera.

I am surprised. It looks like postwork. I haven't played with the clouds and snow. I am glad to know that they are 2D and need to face the camera. Thanks for that.

You know, one of the things about having a big watch list is I get to enjoy finding jewels like this image. This looks like the opening shot out of an epic motion picture. Stupendous work!

Very dramatic scene! Great DOF and blending. Not the guard duty I would like to pull.
