It was a sunny morning in China. A country in East Asia where beautiful and marvelous myths and cultures that has ever been known. Very good food as well as incredible festivals.

A young teenage boy named Yuro was sitting on the grass in front of a massive lake staring at the water as sparkles reflected from the surface, breathing in the fresh and beautiful air surrounding him. He had set up a camp a bit distant from the lake and had a good amount of supplies with him. Though however, he was alone. A few years ago, his parents died in a car accident as they were returning from vacation and he was the only survivor. Yuro was taken to an orphanage where the people there took special care of him. When he reached 13, he decided to leave the orphanage and started to live a life of his own, it was difficult but he managed to get through overtime. Though of course, the question is, what is he doing in China? Well, it was simple, one day Yuro went to a movie theater to watch the new MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) movie, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The movie was great at first until he reached the part he would never forget and it haunted him for almost the rest of his life. It was the scene of the battle of Ta Lo where the monster known as the Dweller-In-Darkness was loose from its prison and Shang-Chi with his sister Xu Xialing and the mystical eastern dragon of Ta Lo known as the Great Protector was going to stop it. And as the fight goes on the Dweller soon gains the upper hand and grabbed the Great Protector by the neck restraining it with its tentacles before forcefully pry the dragon's mouth open as it begins to absorb its soul. That moment got Yuro struck in horror as the Great Protector helplessly struggled in the massive soul eater's grasp and Shang-Chi was struggling to help his sister who was caught in one of the Dweller's tentacles trying to pull her out. All hope almost seemed lost until in an incredible miracle and close call from shear luck, Shang-Chi's best friend Katy Chen, off-screen, fired a dragon scale arrow from her bow and it flew directly into the Dweller's throat and pierced straight through, the blow caused the Dweller-In-Darkness to cry out in pain and was forced to let go of the Great Protector saving the dragon, Shang-Chi, and Xu Xialing from a terrible fate causing Yuro to sigh in great relief witnessing they have been saved. The fight continued and at the end, Shang-Chi used the Ten Rings to explode the Dweller-In-Darkness ultimately killing it as it was shredded and torn to bits and pieces, its remains and limbs fell and sunk into the water and there the battle was over, a few scenes later and the movie ended.

After the movie, Yuro returned to his home but there was one big problem. The scene where the Great Protector almost died had shaken him to his core. The sounds, images, and thoughts of that moment played in his head as well as in his dreams for almost a couple of months and he was traumatized. Once Yuro reached 14 he still couldn't forget that traumatizing scene from the Shang-Chi movie and when he learned that it is now on Disney +, he was too afraid to watch it. So the young human needed something to help get his mind off it and thought, why not go to China? It was a beautiful place of peace and harmony and a good place to relax. A few days later, Yuro made up his mind and decided to go to China. And now here we are with him in China getting some good relaxation and peace, but it didn't last long. Yuro noticed that the sun is going down meaning that nightfall is coming. The boy gets up from his spot and moves his camp behind him making some dinner and before the moon finally rises he went to bed. Yuro was sleeping in his sleeping bag peacefully for the time being, when suddenly he began to sweat as he shivers in fear and was tossing himself side to side muttering the word "no" from his mouth. The horrific scene of the Shang-Chi movie appears in his dreams but this one was much worse than the other ones he had. In the nightmare, Yuro saw the same moment when the Dweller was sucking the Great Protector's soul out of its body but the giant soul eater had managed to completely absorb the dragon's soul and its body went limp and lifeless. The monster lets go and the Great Protector falls into the water. "NOOOOO!!!" Yuro screams as he immediately wakes up and sits up quickly breathing heavily and shivering in fear and started to feel a pain in his chest. Yuro started to cry softly as he balls himself up hugging his legs and tears began falling from his eyes. "Will this nightmare ever end?"

Everything was starting to fall apart until that fateful night he encountered someone Yuro couldn't even imagine or believed to meet, someone who will help him overcome his fear.

Swimming under the giant lake was a large female eastern dragon with red and white scales, a red underbelly, and a red furry mane with a long line of red hair going down its body to its tail. This was the legendary guardian of Ta Lo, the Great Protector. The world Yuro was living in was an alternate universe of the MCU Multiverse where the Marvel Cinematic Universe exists in both movies and TV series and real life. But the only difference is that as the dragon and Ta Lo do exist but the Dweller-In-Darkness and the soul eaters went extinct a long time ago, all killed by her and the villagers of Ta Lo. Besides the dragon's main abilities, it also has the ability to speak verbally and has a name, Xian. She traveled to the earthly world from Ta Lo's waters wanting to see the world outside her home realm when she had learned enough she was going to return to Ta Lo. But when she was about to leave she heard a faint sound coming from the surface, it sounded like someone had shouted and then it changes to what sounds like... sobbing. Curious, she peaked her head out of the water a little bit so that she can see and not be too exposed. There in the distance what looks like to be a camp where a young male human sitting on the ground hugging his knees with his eyes covered. Xian was surprised to see a human young camped out here in the massive opening but she feels bad seeing and hearing the human crying softly. The dragon swims closer to the camp and slowly raises her head and most her body out the water the human's cries muffling the sounds. Xian leans down and nuzzled the boy's head and spoke soothingly, "Hey there little fella, what the matter?"

Yuro continues to cry until he heard a voice and feels something nudging his head. He looks up and to his shock sees a eastern dragon looming over him causing him to back away a bit. "It's ok young one I'm not going to hurt you" it spoke in a soft and warm female voice. Yuro looks at the dragon in awe hearing it speak. But wait, this dragon almost looked familiar for some reason as if you seen it before. Then he gasped loudly as his heart dropped, this dragon is actually the Great Protector from Ta Lo, and it can actually speak! "You- your... Your the-, the Great Protector of Ta Lo, from the Shang-Chi movie?! But-, how is that possible?!" Yuro exclaimed. Xian giggled at his expression and amazement and leans in closer, "You should know there's a thing called the Multiverse, right?" Yuro's jaw dropped, "Wait, the Multiverse is real?! I thought it was a fictional theory!" "Oh it's real alright. It always has been for a long time. Like when you said I was from a movie, in this reality the Marvel world exists in real life and fiction" Xian explained. "And you able to talk is a thing?" Yuro asked. "Yes and I have a name you know, it's Xian" the dragon said. "Oh um, well nice to meet you Xian, mine is Yuro" he introduced. The Great Protector smiled and gives him a small lick on his cheek, "It's very nice to meet you too Yuro. But anyway, now back what I was saying. Why were you crying, did something happened, where are your parents?" Xian asked calmly. "My parents died a long time ago unfortunately" Yuro said sadly. Xian was heartbroken about that, "Oh I'm so sorry about that" she said. Yuro placed a hand on her snout, "It's ok, I managed to get over it. But that's not the reason I was crying" Yuro said. "That's odd, then what is it?"

Yuro told you everything about his traumatized experience with the one part in the Shang-Chi movie and how it was haunting him for a long time. "I see. I guess my near-death moment has scared you to your core. Besides, I'm sure that would've happened in another universe cause the Dweller-In-Darkness is very long dead in this world and all the soul eaters are no more. Also, be sure to remember that in the Multiverse there will always be an infinite number of me and other variations of myself" Xian explained. "That's good. But I still can't seem to get over it I'm too scared to watch that movie again. Even when I look at you it gives me flashbacks" Yuro said. The Great Protector thinks for a moment trying to figure out a way to help him but then she had an idea, "I think I know what can help you get over your fear. How about I put you inside me for a while?" Xian suggested. Yuro started to get a little bit scared, "Inside you? As in your going to eat me?" Yuro said worriedly. The dragon gave you a long lick and nuzzle, "You don't need to worry, I'm the Great Protector, am I? Why would I harm those I care, protect, or help?" She did had a good point after some thought Yuro stood up and walks towards the dragon, "Okay, I trust you Xian. But please be gentle" he said. "I will, just stay still and relax" said Xian. The dragon moves her head over him and opens her gaping maw before gently closing it around Yuro's top half she starts to lick around him a bit as she purred liking his taste. The dragon raises her head up then jerks taking the rest of Yuro inside her mouth. Xian get one final taste from the human before she tilting her head back and swallowed. Yuro slides down the Great Protector's long throat until he reached her stomach. Xian dives back into the lake and once she swam to the bottom she flips over and leans forward to look at her midsection, "So how do you feel in there young one?" she asked. "It feels nice actually, it's so soft and warm" Yuro said rubbing one of the walls. "That's good. Why don't you take a nap in there, you should have a good time sleeping now. And maybe tomorrow, I'll take you to Ta Lo and give you a little flight tour" Xian said. "I appreciate that. Well goodnight Xian" Yuro said before leaning against the walls and goes to sleep. "Goodnight Yuro, I'll see you in the morning" said the Great Protector before she curls up on the ground and closes her eyes happy to help someone in need.
