Today it's Valentine's Day! And to celebrate I thought I draw one of my favourite ships, Rebecca X Bear. As some of you might know Bear is the one who I ship Rebecca with, not Gordon nor Flying Scotsman nor Thomas, og no Bear from the RWS is the one who I ship with Rebecca! This might seem random but I have a pretty cool headcanon idea to explain their relationship. Basically before Bear came to Sodor (When he was still called D7101), he and Rebecca actually met each other, at first both were pretty nervous to talk to each other but overtime they started to become good friends (Though Bear didn't want to admit it to the other diesels), in fact Rebecca was not only one of the steam engine to make Bear finally see that steam engines still have their uses but she was also one of the first characters to technically even call him "Bear" she said "You sound like cute little bear" which made him blush massively, and just a month before he arrived to Sodor along with D199 he heard that Rebecca might be sentenced to being scrapped which worried him deeply, so he tried to talk with some people to see if their was any heritage railways that would be able to purchase her, and luckily their was, Rebecca thanked Bear and blew him a kiss and Bear said goodbye to her and hoped he'd meet her again in the future. Many decades later after Rebecca arrived on Sodor they in fact did meet again and where overjoyed to see each other, nowhere days they are seen usually working together on the main line and their friendship ended up going to full blown romantic. So yea this main seem like a random ship overall but I personally love it and think they're perfect for each other!

Rebecca, Bear and the entire T&F franchise is property of HIT Entitlement and Mattel and of course Rev. W. Awdry & his son Christopher Awdry (Though Andrew Brenner, Davey Moore and Ian McCue where the ones who made Rebecca).
