Description
Shankar from the Indian episodes of the BWBA era was a pretty good character, but my biggest grip with him is that he's a recolor of Ivan the Russian Diesel. Why's this an issue you might ask? well for one the TGM23 is obviously a Russian diesel locomotive class (As proof from Ivan) and none from what I recall worked in India. So I thought I change his basis to a more accurate Diesel class that's actually used in India, and that diesel class is none other than the Indian Locomotive Class WDS-4.

The entire T&F franchise as a whole is property of HIT Entitlement and Mattel and of course Rev. W. Awdry & his son Christopher Awdry (Though Shankar was created by Becky Overton, Andrew Brenner & Ian McCue)
