Hey. Honestly, its a blank emote. It wont get many views anyways, out of the DD's listed people are very likly to click all the others. I personally think something with more thought and genious should have been picked. But its not my decision, and I wont rag on the person. I mean they should be happy they got a DD not upset because everyone is yelling at them. And I'm sure even they will question if it was really the most worth peice from their whole gallery.

People have a right to voice their opinions, and its usually the negative ones that help people grow.
I don't feel that this person deserves praise. They copy pasted an old emote and added a darker shade of orange and added some frames to make it blink. Very little thought, effort, and time put into it.

but the artist didn't ask for the DD, it was chosen because a gallery mod liked it.
that's all a DD is. if a gallery moderator likes a work, they can feature it.

Actually, no. Especially if what I did was something arguably trivial.
He shaded in a already-made emoticon. Good for him, but it's truly not a great feat - especially when there's some pretty good art on here when you look hard enough.

and yes i do atualy, its not up to me what does and does not get a dd (yet), so if you want to complain talk to the one who accepted the dd NOT comment on the artwork its not like they asked for the dd now did they?

I comment on this rather than personally messaging the admin or creater, for the same reason one holds a public protest rather than simply sending a letter to a politician.
If an artist is good enough, neither their feelings nor ego should be injured by a comment on their page that doesn't even attack their piece.
