Description Little sketch i made and added a background to.
The hedgehog on the left is my OC Stone and the girl hedgehog on the right is lu-raziel's character Ember Robotnik.
This picture is suppose to take place 3 weeks after their first meet. Stone has physically changed and is now fast and stronger(and has poofy chest fur and a forehead quill and is taller). Main reason Ember hasn't seen him is because of her training with Espio.
I had been wondering if their could be a possible conflict in their relationship but i can't really think of anything
Here's the story
-------------------
3 weeks later
Ember rushed down the street. She ran as fast as she could to Club Infinity, the place where she had met Stone. She hadn’t seen him in 3 weeks because she had to do some training with Espio and she couldn’t get an important technique down.
“I hope he’s not mad at me.” Ember said to herself as the club came into sight.
When she reached the front doors she looked inside. It wasn’t as busy as the first time she came here but there was still a lot of talking, dancing, and music. Ember searched the club for Stone; she didn’t quite understand why she wanted to see him so much, she just wanted to.
“Hi, you must be Ember.” A soft voice suddenly asked.
Ember turned toward a young purple hedgehog girl with magenta eyes. It was Violet, Stone’s younger sister.
“Yeah I am.” Ember said to Violet.
“Looking for Stone?” Violet asked.
“Yeah kind of.” Ember said looking ashamed; she hoped he hadn’t forgotten about her.
“He’s over there by the bar.” Violet said pointing over at the bar.
Ember looked at the bar, she gasped when she saw Stone. He looked like he had gotten older. He wasn’t wearing his bomber jacket so all of his ebony black area showed on his chest, but he was wearing shorts that looked like swim trunks. He had gotten a bit taller, his back quills now curved up like Gyro’s instead of down, the blue areas on his body had gotten a bit darker, he had gained some sort of forehead quills, and the tuff of white fur on his chest had gotten more… poofy.
He was talking to a male tiger with spiky hair. The tiger saw Ember looking at Stone. He poked Stone on the shoulder and pointed over to Ember.
Stone turned to see Ember. All of his quills and fur rose with excitement. HE waved by to the tiger person and ran toward Ember.
“Hi Ember, thought you forgot about this place.” He said when he reached her.
“No, I’ve just been busy with training.” Ember replied.
“For what?” Stone asked.
“Oh I have these strength exercises that I do with a friend of my dad.” Ember explained.
“Sounds interesting, didn’t know you were a tough girl.” Stone said teasingly.
Ember punched him in the shoulder, playfully.
“Hurt?” Ember asked.
“Nope.” Stone said.
“Well I didn’t know you were a tough boy.” She said.
Stone laughed.
“Well anyway,” Ember began, “You want to come practice pitching and batting with me?”
“What’s that?” Stone asked.
“You don’t know?!”Ember asked amazed.
“No.” Stone said shaking his head.
“Well come on.” She said grabbing him by the hand and yanking him out the front door.
Stone blushed. It was strange having a girl other than family pulling him around playfully, but he liked it Ember wasn’t too harsh but she confidence and perseverance. She was like a wall you couldn’t break down.
When they got to the nearby beach Ember picked up a large duffel bag off the ground nearby.
“Who does that belong to?” Stone asked.
“It’s my stuff.” She said as she started opening the bag up.
“Then why is it here?” Stone asked.
“I dropped it off here last night.” Ember said.
Ember pulled out a steel baseball bat and a baseball from the bag.
“This is a baseball bat,” She said showing Stone the bat, “and this is a baseball.”
“Oh.” Stone said. He hadn’t really known much about baseball, his family never really watched it, and in the time he’s been living (5 years) he hasn’t played the game himself.
“Well what do you know about the game?” Ember asked.
“Nothing really except that it plays on the TV sometimes.” Stone answered.
“How old are you?” Ember asked.
“Physically or chronologically?” Stone asked.
“Time wise.” Ember said.
“5.” He said.
“Yet you look like you’re sixteen.” Ember said dumbfounded.
“Yeah I aged pretty quickly.” Stone said.
“You mean you’ve stopped?” Ember asked.
“Everyone in my family is immortal.” He said.
Ember was actually quite happy. Her family wasn’t the only immortal family in the world.
“Well let’s play.” Ember said handing stone the ball.
“Do I just throw this at you?” Stone asked.
“Well you go to that rock over there,” Ember said pointing to a rock a good distance away, “and pitch it to me in my batting range as hard as you can.”
“Batting range?” Stone asked.
Ember got into a batting pose and practiced swinging the bat.
“The area where the bat comes out, from my head to waist is the batting range.” Ember explained, “You can’t throw below or over or it’s a foul.”
“Oh okay.” Stone said.
Stone dashed to the rock Ember pointed out and turned to face her. She looked ready and had a little smirk on her face. She winked to show that she was ready.
Stone, using all his strength, pitched the ball to Ember. It flew out of his hand faster and harder than he thought it would. It flew toward Ember. She clutched the bat and swung at the precise moment.
CRACK!
The ball flew back toward Stone. The impact of it hitting the bat sounded like thunder.
“Catch it!” Ember yelled to him.
Stone looked up to see the ball barely a foot from his face.
BAM!
Ember dropped the bat and rushed toward Stone’s collapsed body. When she reached him he was dying from laughter. She began to laugh too.
“Why are you laughing?” Ember asked.
“You should have seen your face!” Stone said sitting up.
Ember’s laugh turned into a frown as she punched him in the shoulder. He punched her in the shoulder back.
“Hey! Didn’t your mom ever tell you not to hit girls?” Ember asked amazed at how hard he was able to punch.
“Nope.” He said.
Before they knew anything they were tackling each other like two tiger cubs. Ember would punch Stone and Stone would punch Ember.
“Ember?” a strange voice asked.
The two halted their play fight and turned to see an ebony black hedgehog with crimson markings. He had his arms crossed over is his chest in a disappointed manner and he stared at the two lying on the ground.
“Hi daddy.” Ember said.
“What are you doing?” The hedgehog asked, “And who the hell is this?”
“This is my friend Stone.” Ember said getting off of Stone.
“I told you not to make too many friends on this trip Ember.” He said.
“Why?” Ember asked.
“We’re only going to be here in this town for two more weeks.” The hedgehog said.
Ember looked toward the ground, sad.
“I suggest you clean up here and get back to the hotel. The hedgehog suddenly disappeared in a flash of light.
The two sat in the sand for a long while.
“Well I guess we’ll just have to make the best of what time we have left. Right?” Ember asked.
“Yeah I guess.” Stone said.
“Come on let’s head back to the club.” Ember said.
“But don’t you…” Stone began but Ember was already off to go get her bat.
Stone looked around for the ball. He found it under a peculiar rock. He grabbed the ball when the rock suddenly had a pincher pop out of it. It was a crab! The crab pinched Stone on the hand and wouldn’t let go.
“YEEOUCH!” Stone said.
Ember rushed back over with the bag over her shoulder.
“Stone you…” She began but couldn’t help bursting out with laughter.
Stone finally got the crab off and picked the ball up. He couldn’t help but laugh thinking of how stupid he looked.
“Hey can we try something before we totally pack up?” Stone asked.
“What?” Ember asked.
Stone rushed away for a second. When he came back he was holding a bowling ball.
“I want to see how hard I can hit this with a bat.” Stone said.
“Okay!” Ember said immediately.
She fished out her bat again and handed it to Stone. She grabbed the Bowling ball and turned to face Stone. He was a decent length away and was getting in position. He looked up and winked when he was ready.
Ember pitched the bowling ball to him. He swung the bat at the moment it came in range.
BAM!
The bowling ball flew back toward Ember. She caught it in her hands.
“Nice hit!” She said to Stone as he returned with the bat.
They put all the stuff away. Ember picked up her bag and Stone picked up his bowling ball. They began to walk toward the club. Stone began to think how weird this must look.
In all relationships it seemed like the male would carry the heavier weight and the female would carry the lighter weight or no weight at all. Ember was different Stone thought. She wasn’t some daffodil or some bird that you lock up in a cage and show off. No Ember was different. Stone reached into his pocket and pulled out the picture she gave him. He stuffed it back in his pocket when she turned and looked at him.
“So what do you want to do tomorrow?” Ember asked.
“Do you like photo safaris?” Stone asked.

That’s a cute little story, I hope you will continue it

Possible conflict… well perhaps Stone could be a werehog? He could be taking medicine to prevent himself becoming a monster, but sadly he runs out and becomes a werehog, just an crazy idea

If you are interested we could do some brainstorm some time…
