Phew. I wasn't sure I'd get this done in time. I had to rush a bit in the end, so the backgrounds just aren't as detailed and nice as I had been hoping, but at least I finished.
This is my entry for the Minecraft Christmas art contest in the club, thought I hope the joke isn't too subtle, since I've had a person or two say they don't get it.

So, at risk of spoiling the joke by explaining it, I was contemplating, "...What would you use for Christmas bulbs in Minecraft, anyway?" Only round red thing I could think of was the spider eyes. So we have a tree decorated by treacherously gathering spider eyes, ghast tears, and redstone torches. And of course, the nether star.

And of course, thought not a part of the Square Roots continuity, this comic features Desda from my webcomic, who may seem like a side character now, but she'll become more important as things go on.
