I got my first corset only a few weeks ago~
People make it seem like they're suffocating but it's really like your clothes are hugging you lol

well steel boned ones and the original whale boned ones do, in my experience only plastic boned cheap ones feel like theyre just hugging you idk

Mine has alternating steel and plastic bones (about 6 steel and 4 plastic). I'm not into the whole shabang, so I only go about 2/3 inches smaller than my natural waist. I bet those waist trainers who take 8-10 inches off their size must certainly be suffocated, haha!
