Kale kept an emotionless face and said "It needed to be done. They completed the mission, yes. But if you saw what they've done to the townsfolk, you'd be disgusted as well. Pillaging the town. Robbing, beating or killing the men. Women and children raped in front of everyone. Don't you think that they deserved what I did to them? Wouldn't you have done the same to them?" You think if I did that they wouldn't try to break free and do it again!? Those mercenaries were committing crimes, crimes so despicable that a life sentence in prison is not enough! They don't deserve that! They don't even deserve a quick death! I had to make every single one of them beg for death before I finally liberated their pitiful souls from their miserable bodies." He slowly relaxed the grip he had on her collar "I swore to myself that I wouldn't let the Dark Side flourish within me. That I wouldn't let it get the better of me. Kale widened his eyes at the action and slowly brought his arms around her waist. His yellow eyes slowly receded to their normal grayish blue color as he let himself go to the kiss.
