Description
Lieutenant Mike Evans was point man, with newly promoted Sgt. Jane Redding at his side. Nearing Carentan, Mike spotted a building with a sign that says 'CAFE DE NORMANDIE'. Still moving forward, he barely had time to react and grab Jane and take cover to a nearby building when the road was hailed with Heavy Machine gun fire. Pinned down, Jane screamed "WHERE THE FUCK DID EVERYBODY GO!?" Mike responded "I HAVE NO IDEA!" Mike looked at where the rest of the Airborne were and saw that they were pinned down too. Looking at Jane, he said "I'm gonna draw their fire away from the rest." Jane tried to stop him "Mike, Wait!" Mike peeked around the corner and fired a few shots from his M1 carbine and went back to cover but not before an MG bullet went through the wall and took out his helmet. After a moment of pause he said "SHIT!" Jane looked at him with an annoyed, yet worried glance and said "If your mother ever saw what you just did, she'd be very disappointed!" Mike got out of his momentary shell shock and smirked at her "I thought you were my mother." As soon as those words left his mouth, a grenade exploded nearby. "Oh, Shit!" they yelled at the same time.

I just ripped the scene off of Band of Brothers and the mother part was a reference to Saving Private Ryan.
