Description
Before the destruction of the first Death Star, the 116th Imperial Armoured Division and the attached 228th Stormtrooper Battalion was sent to Felucia to destroy the Rebel Forces occupying the planet. When we first arrived, none of us were prepared for the horrors we met in the heart of darkness. Flesh-eating diseases, predatory wildlife, Rebels using tactics that anyone in the galaxy would consider... savage and the overall feeling of darkness in the planet. Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months. Soldiers of the 116th began wondering if the Empire had forgotten about us. We had a mission to complete but as the months passed by and with no end in sight, we started to wonder when we stopped fighting for the glory of the Empire and started fighting just to survive this hell. Then by the seventh month, our commander broke. Major General Krimshaw believed the Empire had abandoned us and swore vengeance against them while blaming the Rebels as the reason we were on this planet in the first place. He formed a splinter faction made up of like-minded officers and soldiers before he started attacking Imperials and Rebels alike. Command was supposed to fall to the second-in-command but he refused and a Stormtrooper Commander was forced to take action. He had us hold out for as long as we could inside the garrison, fighting savage Rebels, Krimshaw's Secessionists and keeping the Acklays and other predators out there away while staying loyal to the Empire. Those who chose to desert, defect to the Rebels or the Secessionists or even thought about anything that acted against the Empire were immediately terminated by the overzealous Stormtroopers with extreme prejudice. Fear is what drove us to fight. To survive. To destroy the unhinged Krimshaw and his followers and eliminate the savage Rebels. By the time the Empire came to extract us and relieve our men, the remainder of the 116th Armoured Division left the planet for good and vowed to never return but the unspeakable horrors we witnessed still haunts us to this day.
