A mod that I came across via yogscast.
Usually, I tend to stray away from mods that mess with level generatiion, but since it had to do with dinosaur...I couldn't resist. What this mod does is that it allows you to do as a Mr. John Hammond did...Create Dinosaurs!! All you need to do is mine the fossil ore, craft several things to help you (analyzer, cultivater, archaeology workbench), Analyze the fossils & BAM you got the DNA of a Dinosaur. Cultivate it & in time you'll have your own pet dinosaur...or dinosaurs. Besides dinosaur, there relics & artifacts that can be useful. The relics can be put in to the analyzer & reformed into stoneboard which can be put on walls like paintings. There are only 2 artifacts, a helmet & a sword that shoots fireballs & turn pigs into Zombie Pig Bros. Artifacts are reformed with a special workbench made by a piece of paper & a work bench. So far there are only 3 main dinosaurs: Velociraptor, T-rex & Triceratops. Each have their distinctions. Raptors are like wolves, they'll attack mobs for the player but if attacked, they'll rampage & kill the player. T-rex is mountable, it takes some time for it to grow (about 6 mc days),but it is good to level areas for build & it is also immune to arrows. Trikes are also mountable & also take time to grow (about 4 mc days) however they can only be mounted in adulthood. Another thing to mention is the feeder, which reminds me of Jurassic ParKperation Genesis. Its basicly a feeder...not much really to say, just fill it so they can eat. All in all its a great mod for a great game. Like most mods, it requires a modloader, I prefer Risugami's. I'd rate this mod 8/10...mainly since its still in beta. Its a complex mod, but its not as complex as Better than Wolves...oy...
