So what? It's not canon, it doesn't affect the show in any way, and most of the time making Oc's is just for fun and nothing serious or even meant to really go anywhere. Besides, if an artist/writer does actually decide that they want their alicorn character to go somewhere with it, then as long as the character is actually well developed and made interesting then that's what matters to me. If you don't like it, fine, that's your personal taste. But at the end of the day, these are just fan made works and people can create whatever they want and have fun with it, don't take things so seriously.
