I actually want to model that again now, the first model I made didn't really do it justice.

that'd be great! either way it's a lot of interpretation since it's not as well-defined as it should be.

good luck if you get to do it

Looks quite interesting but I wonder whether or not it possess anti-air capability, since I don't see that gun on the side wont be useful if an enemy aircraft attacks from it's six or back (whatever term you prefer)...
Still it's a impressive design, that would best used for siege warfare in my humble opinion...

It looks very good in a thumbnail, though it doesn't anymore when zoomed in. I guess it's a little too sketchy and lines are really bad. It would look really awesome if you put more time in cleaning it a bit more.
I really like it though. Keep it up

well thanks already

about the lines and such: it's a sketch, that's why it's sketchy. it's a concept sketch. additionally, i'm a graphic artist so i don't use any paint-like brushes or colouring methods.

but hey, thanks anyway.

I know what you mean. Those sketchy lines could be good when doing gesture drawing of people and organic shapes. Though when drawing architecture, man-made items and vehicles I think you should be a bit more careful. You see, straight lines really add to the feeling of machines. Not to mention it's easier to color or fill with texture, as you did, if the lineart is done carefully.

By the way, I found fineliners to be really good when doing thumbnail sketches, as well as bigger ones. Have you tried them?

I like the rhythm of shapes in this concept. It would be awesome if you made a finished concept art or illustration from this sketch

of course i've 'tried' them i've been using them for years. maybe it should also be noted that this one was made entirely by digital means, i made the lineart using my tablet, which has it's benefits but also means i don't get to make things exactly the way i want. if you look at some of my other works done by hand you'll immediately see a huge difference.

and i don't know, i usually don't finish my concepts in 'high-quality'. besides, i don't like drawing the same stuff over and over again, prime reason why i just can't be arsed to make a decent comic )

Oh, at first I thought you did lines with a pencil. That's why I mentioned fineliners

I know what you mean by using a tablet. It can be difficult at first but when you master it, it opens a whole new world of possibilities. Good luck on your journey
