Hahaaa finally I "finished" another sketchdump I had a long loooong time undone on my Macbook...
Because I always drew Ashlyn and Kizaru together without any explanation why the connection exist, I wanted to draw some past stuff.
Well, here is the hint, Ashlyns mother know Borsalino very well! (But they were never a couple, and Ashlyn is not Borsalinos daughter)
But they shared a deep connection, till Lucille met a pirate she fell in love with, and young Borsalino cant really handle the situation. The pirate was very charming, lovely and a big adventurer, not a bad person or something, but Borsalino killed him as the marines searched for the Crew without Lucille ever knew this and in this time she was pregnant with Ashlyn.
The fact: Borsalino was highly jealous of the pirate, his name was Tristo Kane and Borsa also was the only person who knew about the "lovestory" about them.
Lucille died 5 years after the birth of Ashlyn on a disease (I know its a clichee) And since then Borsalino tried to care for that little girl. But he realised fast that he isnt good with children and hired Nannys to care for her, but he makes sure that she will have a good training and qualification by the marine.

And Ashlyn became friend with a fishman named Hanki, she met in her childhood. They also have a forbidden big friendship togetehr (no romance)
