Description Ladies and gents, I give you... the Troll.

And who would have thought that such a big guy's actually afraid of mice?

Well, but this is what happens if Troll goes on an evening stroll and meets a valiant mouse, willing to defend his life and property.

My entry for the Cute Trolls and Trolls in Love contest at - check it out, it's fun!

I want to dedicate this artwork to one of my good friends here at DA, . She's having kind of a hard time right now, and I thought something sweet would be just the thing to cheer her up!

Both very sweet and very funny. One of the things that makes this render work so well is that you spend the same care and detail on a humorous picture as you do your more serious art. I hope Mrs. Mouse gives her brave, if foolish husband, an appropriate reward. I think the troll is pretty nice - for a troll.

Marvelous work I love the atmosphere, the contrast between the monstrous and impressive physical appearance of the troll and the tenderness, the sweetness which gets free of the image. The mouse knight is formidable!

I can imagine that it wasn't so easy to find the right gesture for the troll, since... well these are big, ugly and though guys... they usually don't behave like this
and again very good composition... I totally dig the somewhat L-like composition....fits very good to the situation/story you wanted to tell...

sorry... hahaha,.. I studying too much art history....
well, it describes the way you build up your image.... in this case the keyinformations are set on the vertical line of troll, and the horizantal one with the mouse and his house( ...umm I mean pumpkin)
so you read the image by following an L- form,... thats your composition in this case.
