A gift picture for my wonderful sister, .She'll actually be moving up here to WA to live with us. And I know things have been rough for her, so I thought it would be nice to do. Also kind of a welcoming gift to her new den.
I'm rather proud of this piece, and it was pretty fun to do. I TRIED..ttrriiieeedd...to make alittle simplistic background to give it more color, as I would -like- to start learning and playing around with backgrounds now...but anything overly hard will hurt my wrist.

I've always loved the way you color and shade things, and this picture is no exception.
The way you make the fur 'pointy' is a great style and it looks wonderful.
I really like that 'background.' It's pretty and I like the little bit of purple and green you put in it.
And,....Is the tail between her legs?

Well, yeah..that's the tail between her legs. I goofed up on inking and I couldn't fix it without completely ruining the picture. It was supposed to go around the far leg, but I completely forgot when inking. x.x

WOW ... so pretty @_@ those are colored pencils right? i need to learn how to use colored pencils like that! i could never get it right, but i always loved how smooth and you can make the the colors if you know how.
