Description
The fashions of the 1940s through the 2000's (sequentially from left to right) as modeled by my snowserval avatar... This was a fun study in different decades, and fashions - I did some research for each, although I limited myself to what I felt I would actually wear, given that decades fashions...As a child of the 80's, that particular outfit was the most fun for me ^.^.
Done with Micron inks, tria markers and acrylic paints on 11"x14" illustration board. (most of it is acrylics, but I needed some marker to do the more vibrant shades of pink and green in the 60's and 80's outfits)

I'd say (guessing the right side is modern day) things are a bit more laid back now, while the earlier years was all about experimenting.

Between the seventies and eighties, I found myself Not a fashion bug. And of course, not being female, most of the bangles and socks were completely out of my orbit.
These are all very nicely done, and they make me quite glad that we've gone into the style of the last two decades. Ladies look so much better when they're allowed to be ladies, a bit less flash and a little more decorum, I think. (And eventually those high midriff shirts simply must drop back down to keep tummies from getting frozen in winter, don't you think? 
Fifties and Ninties are my favs here.

I like the 80s look, though I dont think in present day I'd wear it. No offense ^_^
I'm a child of the 90s, and I can say that that would be something I'd wear, but I prefer a more modern look :3
