Well, you all knew I was going to draw Dark SOMETIME this month. I figured, why keep you waiting? ^_- Ugh, this took so LONG, though! Seven hours straight from start to completion. ...I can't afford to do this much work every day. >>;; The two boys were drawn seperately in open canvas, then assembled in adobe photobusiness deluxe. The background is half new, half recycled. And I worked HUGE, leik woah. I think the original size was 1600x2133. Yikes.
Red fairies are a Goddess-send in OoT.

love it. i'm OCDing about zelda again so i'm on a +fav adventure. the arm slice reminds me i should get around to drawing my laceration tutorial one of these days XP You're picture depicts it rather well, the clean slice actually compliments the style better than a jagged tear or warped slice would, or at least in my opinion.

there is so much to say about it that I am speechless (maybe that is why I did not comment before, lol)
Great technical skills aside: the scene is set up so well, the emotions are envoking, and Navi's body language shows that she is so pissed off. I love that the pink fairy is sewing Link up. and Dark using Link's hat to clean the sword REALLY makes this piece what it is, it creates a further sense that Dark is enjoying all this way too much and is toying around with Link's life.
and then there is the dialouge in the artits comment box that adds to this further....

lol, I absolutely tortured Dark Link in that game! He was easy, and I was bored, so I hit him with every item I had to mess with him and kept him alive for a while just so I could watch him dance! >
