Well, you all knew I was going to draw Dark SOMETIME this month. I figured, why keep you waiting? ^_- Ugh, this took so LONG, though! Seven hours straight from start to completion. ...I can't afford to do this much work every day. >>;; The two boys were drawn seperately in open canvas, then assembled in adobe photobusiness deluxe. The background is half new, half recycled. And I worked HUGE, leik woah. I think the original size was 1600x2133. Yikes.
Red fairies are a Goddess-send in OoT.

This is the first Dark Link fan-art that I'll fave and not care that his hair is pepper gray. [It's a weird opposite thing I'm nuts about between Dark and the real Link.

Ah,yes. Medically appropriate bleeding. That means you show that people DO bleed when cut, but without getting campy. Though I think that red fairy should be working on the gash in his abdomen first. Got this tidbit of wisdom from Mom, an ER nurse. Apparently a gaping wound there is bad.
Navi would say something stupid like "Stop dying".
Uh...the fun starts when Link's out of fairies? Is DL a necrophile or something? That alone should steel Link's nerves enough to finish off the guy...

oaky u guys are all gonna think im stupid or something but cut me some slack. i don't really get the idea. its a great picture but i dont get what's going on. here's what i got....DL just sliced Link and navi's [link] . the little red fairy is DL's imitation of navi. is it just too simple for me to grasp?

Actually, the little red fairy is fixing Link back up. It doesn't belong to DL. In the Zelda games, you can bottle red fairies, and if you die, they revive you. So I just took a "more realistic" approach to those fairies, in that they'd actually have to heal all of the wounds Link recieved before he could start fighting again.
So, yes, DL killed Link and is smug about doing so. Link is wondering how the heck he lost. Navi is understandably pissed, and the red fairy is working her butt off to get Link battle-ready again ASAP.
