Gigantopithecus Are basically orangutans if Β they had Β some features and lifestyle of a gorilla and grew to the size of the hulk or something.

Do think more prehistoric animals could appear in the next jungle book movie?
Here are some examples:Β Megalochelys atlas, Palaeoloxodon namadicus, Elephas hysudricus, Deinotherium, Stegodon, Sivatherium giganteum, Megantereon and Hexaprotodon sivalensis.

I'm wondering why King Louie isn't the head honcho?
A Gigantopithecus could probably kill a tiger with ease if one were to piss one off

Β Very good. I love it when people make gigantopithecus look like it's modern day descendants such as the bornean orangutan. It's pretty logical because of the shapes of their skulls (even though the only evidence of the biggest species, Gigantopithecus blacki like the one in that picture was it's jaw).Β

Very good! It made sense to make King Louie one of these since orangutan's don't live in India.Β

Indeed, although scientists do say that orangutans lived in India during prehistoric times, still it was a good choice.
