Update: RMSkin (20 November 10)I've coverted the package to the ".rmskin" format, which makes it quick and easy to install new skins in the latest version of Rainmeter.

I am a longtime fan of AKH 's Simplicity . The config is still among the top-ten most popular Rainmeter downloads, and is of some historical significance for Rainmeter, being one of the first "suite"-class packages, with multiple skin variants, its own sidebars and borders, and even rudimentary support for varying resolutions. Enigma owes much to Simplicity's design philosophy.
AKH, who had no concrete plans to continue working on Simplicity, has kindly granted me permission to update the skin for Rainmeter 1.1. I have not only rewitten the entire skin line-by-line, but taken advantage of some cutting-edge features from the most recent Rainmeter beta builds. Of course, if he wants his baby back in the future, I'll be happy to let him take over again. In the meantime, I hope I've done justice to a much-loved skin of the past while bringing it into the modern age.
Among other additions, Simplicity 2 has integrated the much-beloved chip clock by Leuchtstoff .

also, I'm not sure how much work this would be, but it would be really cool if I could change the colors of the bars in each meter, while the text stays white. just an idea.

I am unclear about adding my weather code to the weather ticker. When I got to the web address you put in the directions, my browser says that address doesn't exist. How do I get the weather meter working? I love how simple all of this looks. It's perfect for my desktop.

The Simplicity wallpaper came with the original . As for the others, there's no one place. I follow InterfaceLIFT , Wallpaper Abyss , Simple Desktops , Fifty Foot Shadows , and a whole slew of users here on deviantArt.

This is really great. Like, really. Only thing I'm missing is a system volume control, like maybe clicking it opens a slider or something. That'd be grand. But seriously, great work.

It's like any Rainmeter skin. You can just paste it into your Skins directory.

All your work is great, but the foobar users cannot use your players. It would be awesome, since you're a major force in the rainmeter society, that you made your players compatible with foobar.

I can look into that as a minor update. Foobar users interact with Rainmeter using the Winamp API, if I'm not mistaken? So that would be quite easy.

simplicity is the key to a high defintion look and a great design. easy and simply, as the name lets you think about it.
i think this is a great update for an amazing rainmeter config and as you said it brings the skin into the modern age of system monitoring.
that's the way i like my desktop to look...
even if i am currently working on a new one that is the grossest opposite of simplicity (:

love this pack, only issue i am having is with the weather part. after using the given link to get the code i was given EUR|UK|UK191|Oldham yet i still dont seem to be able to get it working. any ideas?

This happened because of a mistake I made in the RegExp code. I've just updated the package with a fix - try it from a fresh download.

i get section metadata is not a meter or measure whenever i try to open a config, i have the skin in the right folder and havent made any changes to it and i have latest rainmeter with latest enigma working fine and other skins in same folder

It's simply beautiful. I love the clock. Is the dark circle on the outer part the seconds? If so, that's how I've always wanted a clock - no arms, just dots in a complete circle.
