commissioned me to draw an amiable Crane and Viper enjoying tea together in a not-necessarily-sexually-charged scenario. If the gentle reader presumes that the snake may jump the bird's skinny bones once her oolong has been quaffed, that is his or her prerogative. ;DThat's my cast-iron teapot! Liz got it for me for my birthday and I'm not sure how I ever got along without it...<3

How very poised and calm they both look. Sharing a civil cup of tea. Rather than furiously sucking face in whatever manner is available to someone with a beak. It's the little things, the off moments of calm and gentility that define a relationship. And their definition looks pretty good.

You captured vipers complex designs really well. I really like the way you did cranes hat and feet as well. And of course, that teapot is friggin' awesome looking as well.

I like the snake. I just think it's funny seeing a snake drinking tea for some reason. The tea pot is cool. And the bird reminds me of what Robbin Hood dressed up as during the archery competition in Disney's animated film for some reason.
Must be his hat.
