While on vacation visiting relatives, my aunt asked me to design wrapping paper her friend's daughter's sweet 16 birthday. I was trying to think of a design that is colorful without looking childish, more appropriate for a teenager. After thinking on the idea of tropical plants, I decided to use hibiscus flowers. I added butterflies to add some cool colors to the image. done in black ink, markers, and white gel pen.
