Description
How did this come to be?She was perfectly at ease risking her own life, she had done it countless times. This was different. The entire foundation of her existence, that she was an expendable resource, was askew. She had something other than her unique skills to preserve. Something more than her oath of subservience. She was for the first time in her life, something more.

Jus' happened to stumble upon your Gallery, and this picture caught my eye. Very well done, and her hair is gorgeously drawn.

Thank you very much. Her hair took such an amazingly long time to complete, so it is nice to see it appreciated.
I'm glad you stumbled in, hope you stay a while.

I love the hair in this one, and her pose is so guarded. I just want to make her feel better.

This is incredible! Now, is the father who I'm thinking it is...or am I completely mistaken?

Thanks!
Who are you thinking it is?
Furthermore, who all do you think is in the "daddy" pool?

I don't really know of all that many people that Tari hangs around...there's that guy from the other pic you have...um...name...Naralex? Something like that? Or of course there's Fierathyn.

As it should be. She's a sneaky sneaker! I'll give a list of contacts since she's inactive right now (for obvious reasons).
Men she's been seen in the presence of in public, over the course of several years: Sarej Sicari, Aaldeon Sicari, Varay Alaskinaroth, Velday Alaskinaroth, Lleyne Rimesong, Fierathyn, Niracas Lo'tetari, Pandir Laminar, Saekal Sarin, Salthizad Bal'tair, Tydoreine Suncrusher, Samuel Arke, Narender Nighbane, Dukassa De'kkar, and Dantalion Illstar.
All of whom she's worked with closely on one task or another. Though the list of men she's been in even remotely intimate situations with is considerably shorter. She's worked with an even longer list of women, but obviously they aren't suspect right now!
Does that narrow it down?

Ohh, and I've been wondering, cause I've seen it in multiple pictures...what's that thing she's holding?

The vials? Probably the vials. They're pendants of sea water and Sicaryn sand given to Sicaryn soldiers working on the mainland by the Maiden to remind them of home.
Vitari didn't get one because of her status, so the knight Lleyne Rimesong gave her his. That way she too would have a memory of home. When she was tortured, holding the vial was the only thing that kept her from losing willpower and sanity.
When the Lady Har'amae noticed knight Rimesong was without, she issued him another. Later, events lead to a false knight impersonating Rimesong giving her the second vial as well. She never got around to returning it, so she holds two.
That was unusually hard to explain. Hopefully it made sense.

Yeah, the vials. I looked back to other pictures and thought it contained something at least. I was thinking blood...but I like the true stuff better! That's a really sweet idea.

Yeah, the Sicaryns aren't so morbid to use ichor in their trinkets. They're more mindful than that. Symbolism goes a long way!

Aww, there's so much feeling in this image - very profound. And her hair looks especially beautiful...

Thank you! It took forever, especially her hair. I've had this image in it's preliminary state for weeks now, daunted to continue due to the exceptional amount of work that would have to go into the ink. Her hair alone kept me from my breakfast for two or more hours at least. I'm so glad the emotion and work carried through to the end result.
