EDIT! I re-did this in PhotoShop (with a mouse as normal) and edited some things in an attempt to make this look professional. It's now under Digital Art.Yes, again, it is everyone's favorite, Nerville. This is one of my Valentine's Day pictures. ^_^ I'm so optemistic about these things.
Done with pencil and a bit of added gray scale in PhotoShop because I didn't want to waste pencil lead and because I'm lazy.
Nerville is mine. You can't have him.

Nerville is a character i designed to have a pretty horrible life. Everything goes wrong. His story has changed a lot since i first started drawing him, but if i have a generic situation that is sad or disappointing, it's gonna have him in it.
I know it's sad, but really that was the idea
There is a sister picture of him holding out the same flower as if he just got up the courage to give it, but unfortunately it was in my sketchbook that got stolen.

lol. Wonderful work and I love the texture you have for background. My one thought is the rough shading, which you may have meant to do but looks a little rough.
