I'm not going to write a whole lot here, because you guys would probably just skim it or skip it entirely anyway. But please, watch this video. It'll take five minutes of your time. It shows just how hard this oil spill is hitting the gulf's people and ecology:

I've found another video that shows a diver going into the water. This one actually goes in without a Hazmat suit on. The amount of crud in the water is just amazing: [link]

A simple way that I have found for everyone to help out is by donating hair. Yup, hair. It's naturally a great oil absorber (hence why we wash it every few days XD), and they have found that it really does help to clear the water. You can find out more about this here: [link]

And of course there are plenty of charities and nonprofit groups that are accepting donations to help the wildlife affected by the oil spill. It's just a Google search away.

We may have this world for now, but we should be concerned with what our children will be able to do with it later.
