If anyone would like to colour and or outline this you're more than welcome. Just be sure to give me proper credit and tell me that you're doing it.Beautiful Liar- Beyonce and Shakira or in this case; Courtney and Gwen. I swear this song is made for these two. Okay, so the context is a little different, but it still fits!
Total Drama World Tour for me has gone from 'oh great, they're singing' to 'omg i love this show' to 'WTFISWRONGWITHYOUDUNCANHOWCOULDYOUCHEATONCOURTNEY'. See, what I don't get is why Duncan couldn't do the right thing and just break up with Courtney. Properly. Instead of having Tyler of all people break it up for him. (okay so Alejandro made him, but the point is still there). Uh, hello? Have you not seen how upset Courtney is now? Jerk. Duncan's gone from being my favorite male to, well, not. Courtney's still my favorite girl, now more than ever. The weird thing is that I actually still like Gwen. Still hate Duncan and Gwen, but this is mostly because I think Duncan and Courtney are perfect for each other. Oh well, se la vie and all that.

The mid point of TDWT hasn't made me very happy. The worst is the plot holes in the stories and setups, the team running gags that alot of people didn't think was so good, and the free ride Duncan is getting (got back in almost to the half way point when others had to work hard to get that far then saved from elimination in the Greece episode due to Chris's favor (I disliked him for his jerk actions of the past but always had hope he would learn and turn that around but he has gotten worse though time p.s. HATED that laugh and his look when he found he was safe)) but that is another topics.
When I saw in a ad that Gwen and Duncan would kiss I assumed he did the right thing before that kiss and broke off properly with Courtney (she would be mad and sad but Duncan still would of done the proper thing). Then the episode aired and while Duncan was gone Courtney was sightly more reasonable and was becoming friends with Gwen. Courtney from TDA didn't make her my favorite character (she was at the end of TDA my least favorite) however good and decently made changes in TDWT to Courtney: not so much being nice but less bad than what she was, Courtney starting to less blame others for team or her mistakes and took some blame and responsibility for it (big plus in my account shown in the episode of Chris's hometown when Courtney addicted she was at fault and human she raised greatly in my likings), finally her friendship with Gwen had me liking each of them more (I love friendships and past enemies become true friends and at the point Gwen I liked but she isn't in my top ten of favorites but I always support true friendships). Courtney was behaving so differently from TDA Courtney (and I love not only good people and nice people but characters that develop instead of derailment) that she went from my most disliked to close to the midway point and if she kept it up and right the wrongs she did to certain characters in the past she could see maybe a top ten spot in my likings).
Then Duncan (who I'm putting most of the blame on) had to ruined it (from what I'm seeing just him being back hurts Courtney's development of being a better person in TDWT as she showed signs of TDA Courtney once Duncan came back). Gwen I also put blame on (not so much on her due to she is available and didn't start the cheating kiss but she didn't pull away (and she was big on karma and has a sense of moral and experienced for a short time how it felt to be hurt and cheated on when Heather pulled that stunt on Trent with the kiss though Trent didn't expect it plus pulled away) she didn't tell Courtney (understandable why they didn't due to fear but Duncan and she together should of told Courtney together and expect the result of hated plus even if Tyler didn't tell they weren't privately having the kiss they were having a kiss THE WORLD COULD SEE in the "confessional") Adding to my hated was Duncan treating Tyler (dude in all honestly I would have given them both three days to tell Courtney due to it was the right thing and Courtney needed to know and WILL find out no matter what but if Duncan threaten me like he threaten poor Tyler that three day timeslot would default to zero). Gwen was acting more in guilt than Duncan was be it seem to stem with a "ME" mindset and after Courtney found out Gwen basically was in my mind saying (poor me, me ,me, Duncan, me...) Gwen I still believe there is good in you (unlike Duncan who has taken over the most disliked spot over Al the villain sue) but your lack of empathy and understanding of the pain seems very small plus I hated it every time she says something like "poor me and Duncan" for this topic. Granted Courtney is now hurt as a character as well being "new Izzy" with revenge only on the mind and not on the game (understandable however fro Courtney being hurt) as Heather put it as Gwen is now the "new Heather".
Overall this has gotten me peeved (plus with Duncan back in and Owen and Heather also still in those three has had the longest time on the show and screen time then any of the other characters and I was hoping they would have a early out so the others would get screen time and average the character usage up a little more but instead all three are still in this (Heather is not nice but if she lasts long maybe due to character development she could become a nicer person as I'm hoping, Owen I like due to him being a nice positive person but just due to his screen time I want him out (but now I also want the relationship fixed between him and Izzy and being that Owen likes or tries to think highly of everybody that if he even finally lost that trait that person could be in trouble (most likely Al as Al's verbal and physical treatment of Owen (plus he tried to kill him and abandon him two times already (speaking of which Tyler's determination even though pain and "no man left behind" mindset has me loving Tyler plus he is not just a very good guy not wanting to cheat and trying to save all his teammates and be a team player but also is very funny and has some great lines) has me wanting Owen to curbstoop him), and Duncan I disliked before and loath now).
Sorry to write a very long rant but this topic and the characters actions has me very angry and I'm not liking what I'm seeing from the show.

Duncan is a punk, think about it, you kinda know DXC wouldn't last, and probably not even DXG.
I could be wrong, for all I know. All I know is that I'll support DxG, DxC, or any other couple that catches my interest.
I just didn't picture Courtney crying. It broke my heart listening to her.

Punk is a music genre. I know what you mean, but there have been many times during the show where Duncan has been shown to actually be a lot nicer than he lets on. And he also hates cheaters apparently because in TDI he helped vote off Trent after Trent and Heather kissed, and that wasn't even Trent's fault! He's being very hypocritical.
