So in case it wasn't clear before, both Bagan and the Spacegodzilla, Astaroth, have a Sith-based relationship. With Bagan as the master, and Astaroth as the apprentice.

In Astaroth, Bagan saw a great deal of potential. The potential to perhaps one day surpass him, and wield The Omega Effect to rule the cosmos with an iron fist. The crystal kaiju has always held a Godzilla's potential for growing stronger, so this is not beyond the realm of possibility. In fact, Astaroth craves the power that may surpass his master, and works to overthrow him by playing the long, quiet game. Biding his time until his strength overwhelms Bagans, and he can assume his rightful place as ruler of all existence.

Doesn't mean Bagan will make it easy for him.
