Birthday gift to me, courtesy of AdrianVonNightshade and one I have to share because it's so good, and symbolizes the endless struggle in "Godzilla: The Chronicles of War".

Earth has always been a center of conflict in the ever-lasting war against The Vashtar (Darkness, for those who still haven't paid attention). More specifically, the war waged by its Avatar, Lord Bae'Gahn. For earth existed even in the One Realm as its Source-World. In every universe since, Earthrealm/Midgard has been at the heart of all things. From mystical, to elemental, our tiny, seemingly insignificant speck of a world has always been at the heart in the conflict of Good vs Evil. And Bae'Gahn himself has known this since time immemorial. Something about this world makes it important to The Balance of Creation. To the very Source itself. And he has made it his objective to conquer this world so he may learn its secrets. Why is it so special? What lies within this small sphere of a planet that makes it the center of existence? And could this world truly be the key to solving the solution to his ultimate problem: The Anti-Life Equation? Not to mention assembling the Novus Blade to claim power over The Source, and Mar'Nulum, itself? Whatever the case, he will not rest until he gains control over this world by any means necessary. Even if he has to damage it a little, and wipe out all life in and out of it to do so.

Something a certain King of the Monsters, and Guardian of Balance has most certainly taken offense to, and will stop at nothing to prevent.
