Wary of Kikyou's presence as a soul collector whisks past him, Inuyasha's "stare" softens in this way he always does when it comes to Kikyou.I don't get that look he gives Kikyou. Is it a "My Dear Past Love" stare or a type of "...It's Her" stare?
Somebody define it for me.

I really like this piece since it shows a real style individual to you. I find myself getting tired of the traced images of InuYasha being recolored or redrawn and then being passed off as original works. I mean, I know that none of us who draw InuYasha are being 100% original, but one should at least try to avoid reusing images from the manga, a doujinshi, or the anime. Again, that's why I give this one high marks. I found myself pondering what InuYasha might feel about the creatures that have become Kikyou's constant companions.
As for how InuYasha feels, his situation is a tragic one. When he looks at her, he feels responsible for her since he loves her and wants to protect her. He feels like it's up to him to try to save her from her condemned life. But, because she has become utterly focused on killing Naraku, she has had to put aside how she felt about him and push InuYasha away, even forcibly, so that she can concentrate on what she must do.

I like how soft and blended your colors are, as well as the delicate touch to Inuyasha's face and the soul collector.
As far as his stare, I don't get it either but I think it leans more towards: "It's her..."
