And last but not least, Switch.

Personality/history:
Switch started training and joined ASP at a fairly young age. He was an eager young soldier, quick to obey and quick to please, totally obsessed with moving up in the ranks and impressing his superiors. He had a very gun-ho, happy-go-lucky personality, obsessed with being a hero and the best soldier he could possibly be. For a long time, he viewed the war with the Resurgence as something of a game, a way to make a name for himself. His greatest aspiration was to become a high ranking officer.

His former personality was dramatically changed however after meeting an MTT he refuses to name. He fell madly in love with them, and they entered a relationship when they accepted his advances. Unfortunately their relationship didn't last - his mate abruptly left him when it was dramatically revealed they were an agent with the Resurgence, and their relationship had been a sham to infiltrate the ASP. The one MTT he thought he knew best, turned out he didn't know at all.
Switch was left crushed after the dust settled; he'd never had anything mean as much to him. He turned extremely bitter after being betrayed by his supposed lover- happy go lucky personality no more. He's cold, snide, mistrustful, and keeps a distance between himself and the rest of the world. Switch threw himself back into becoming the perfect soldier, putting ASP first and his own life second. He adamantly hates the Resurgence and vows to kill that MTT should he ever see them again.

This led to some recklessness: later Switch was badly wounded in another battle with the Resurgence, rescued by ASP's medics who assured him he'd recover. He has scarring on his chest from this incident. This is also when he met Gemini - Switch didn't have anyone to take care of him while he endured an extensive recovery, so Mercury and Gemini temporarily took him in. His stay with them was brief - just long enough for him to be able to live on his own again. Mercury especially tried hard to not only take care of Switch's body, but improve his mental health by treating him like his own son.
Switch ignored all of it, and hardly talks to Mercury or Gemini outside of work. Mercury won't give up however and continues to pester him, much to Switch's constant annoyance.

Fun facts:
- His initial reaction to anyone is to immediately be rude. He pushes people away, always suspecting there's something they want.
-He's a frequent sight at bars around the city (generally where he goes straight after work), and is somewhat famous for getting into barfights. And always winning.
- He's a skilled marksman but is less skilled in hand-to-hand combat.

Appearance:
No tattoos. Scarring on his chest from being wounded in battle (He keeps it hidden). His hair is blue at the roots and orange the rest of the way. His tongue is orange.

Note: the MTT from the Resurgence is just a random character, it's not meant to be you-know-who (though I'll openly admit the story came from my feelings on the matter) That character no longer exists and I had to re-write Switch from scratch.

Actually I'd be super open to having someone have their MTT take the position of the one who used Switch. Anyone in the Resurgence that kind of heartless asshole and wants to be THAT GUY? It would actually be really interesting to build that into a backstory for both characters. I assume they'd come in contact again and get into an epic fight LOL. So poke me if you want. OR write that into your next adoption entry, you have my wholehearted permission if you contact me first.
