I personally ship Fireheart with Onewhisker most often, but there is hardly anything on them two xP Do you have a fav pairing?

I think it was because everyone thought Onestar was too close to Firestar and Windclan was really doubting him, so he had to do something. Pressure, embarrasment and fear of mutiny might've been some factors behind it. I don't think he truly hated Firestar, but was angry that he felt like he was making him look like a fool. That doesn't justify it, but that's my thinking on why he behaved that way.
Didn't they reconcile after a while?
Mistyfoot x leopardstar makes sense to me. I liked Leafpool x Sorreltail, Sandstorm x Dustpelt, Jayfeather x Fallen Leaves. I read part of the fourth series, which I found to be actually quite interesting. I love the first one, I'm okay with the second series, but the third series for me was a bit boring. I also have the second book of the fifth series they're working on.

Yes that is why but that doesn't mean I forgive him for it since ya know Firestar. Nice guy until the end.

i still greatly sympathize with onestar though. He was just a cat who had the basic warrior duties and suddenly poof! he's leader, in spite the fact everyone thought it would be Mudclaw, and no one but Firestar and Onewhisker were there to hear Tallstar's last words. And most of the cats knew that Firestar and Onestar were really really close friends. After Graystripe and Sandstorm. So I'm sure all the cats were thinking it was suspicious that Firestar and Onewhisker would say that he was to be leader, and Windclan didn't really like him as leader, made it clear that Mudclaw should've been leader, and the other clans weren't helpful except Firestar.
But yeah, Firestar was a great cat, and leader, but of course, much older. I'm sure though that they did find in time to become good friends again, but perhaps being leaders and also having that sparring might've put damage to their friendship. I haven't been able to read enough to see if those two hold grudges or not.

Actually I think Onewhisker is a bit older. Not sure how old. But I believe Firestar died at 8 years old.
but yeah, it is quite sad how things turned out for them. They both were good cats. Onestar just sadly got the brunt of the hate.

actually I'm not sure what I meant by much older anymore. I always assumed that they were about the same age, like the same years of age but by a few months or something. But I can see what you mean, since Firestar was still Firepaw when he and Graystripe rescued the Windclan. I see the most common pairing for Firestar seems to be with Graystripe, and I can see why, but personally I'm not really into them two.
and I don't think they really focused on their friendship much at the fourth series, and the fifth is over the beginning of the four clans. Skyclan was kinda forgotten about. Along with all the other characters that were left behind.

I liked them together pretty much during the first series. Since ya know, in the second Graystripe gets captured and in the third he pays so much to Millie he ignores everyone else.

yeah, he never returns after that for the rest of the series, and I think it would've possibly made a bigger impact if Firestar's best friend just never came back. Maybe. I remember he kinda forgot about Silverstream, but apparently it was solved during the manga series, which only existed since Erin sounds like she didn't have anymore ideas so decided Graystripe wasn't dead after all. I don't know why, but Millie just seems too perky and perfect, from my memory anyway. and I really didn't like Daisy, she wouldn't hardly do anything. I think there was a cat that even once complained about how many halfbreeds and kittypets were coming into Thunderclan, and most of the forest born cats were dead by that point, especially the ones that came from the first series.
I've been wondering though, were Mousefur and Longtail ever a thing? Or were they related?

Yeah basically Silverstream came to. Graystripe and said 'it was okay and to move on' and yeah. Millie was fine, but in the last series she defiantly wasn't on my good list. When one of her daughters (I forget the name) brakes her legs, she completely ignores her other kits. Scolding Blossomfall on things and comparing them to her crippled sister, saying how she should be fortunate and try harder when her sister could do nothing.
this caused Blossomfall to resort to going to the Dark Forest cats, feeling she didn't belong.
so yeah not liking her.
and no I believe they never were a thing. Just friends.

wow, such a nice mother. Clearly favoring one child over another is a sign a of such good parenting, no? Did Graystripe do anything about it? or did he just kinda turn a blind eye in away from all that? That's another thing I didn't really care for, was that even live cats could go to the Dark Forest, under the influence of Tigerstar. They really should've made some other villain or something, since the ending of the first implied that Tigerstar was gone forever.
But I can agree with you on Millie, that was just wrong. And Graystripe doesn't look too good right now if he did nothing about it.
ah, I see. I've been rereading, and it seems like those two were around one another a lot, and when it comes to Erin, that seems to usually mean they're going to get together, and it seemed a lot more evident when they were elders before Longtail died. But I can see what you mean, since they were probably the only two warriors of their time left so it felt comforting to have eachother around.

Yeah, Graystripe didnt do anything. He treated them all nicely, but he didnt exactly stop nor yell at Millie for her bad behavior. Yeah that was pretty annoying. When it was just the prophecy cats and medicine cats fine but now anyone can do it apparently. Bleh.
Well actually I believe Longtail is quite younger then Mousefur. The onlh reason he became elder was because he was blind and I believe he was still considered young in the beginning of the third series. Which is why they spent so much time together with Mousefur helping him and taliing with him and such.

I remember Graystripe being much more loving and caring for his first two children, but maybe it was because Silverstream died before she could help him raise them. But aside from that, I guess we don't get to see him raise those two much do we? Yeah, he should've been angry and upset that his new mate would do such mental damage to their kids.
It really doesn't make the Dark Forest all that special then. As well as Starclan. She really didn't handle that very well at all.
well, I would agree on him being younger than Mousefur but I don't believe he was all that young by the third series though. When Firestar first came to the clan, Longtail seemed to be a little older than him, maybe not by much. He was a warrior though by that time, and yeah, he did go to the elders' den pretty early too. Unless a lot of time passed from the beginning of the third series to when Longtail was killed off. They implied somewhere that Longtail still seemed young, but he was starting to show signs of his age too. But Firestar was getting a little old by that time, and since Longtail was a warrior while he was an apprentice, he must've been not too far from elderly. But that's just my take on his age, but I think that Mousefur might've been a source of comfort for him and she may have been like an older sister to him perhaps? I forget, I would have to read Bluestar's prophecy to find out when these two came around. I'm wondering if they were possibly related or something.

Longtail had literally just been named warrior before Firestar became apprentice. He wasnt that much older I think. Jaypaw seemed to imply Longtail was still young when he was ranting. But I dont remember how much time passed in the third series. Time kinda got a bit funky especially in fourth season since most of it I believe barely any time passes.

ah, I kinda figured. I thought Jayfeather had said he was still young but showing signs that he's getting older though. I don't know anymore, I haven't read the third series in a long while now. I'm not sure at all, but I never really read enough of the fourth. I just know after a while, I assumed most of the cats from the first series were old by the third, or at least getting there while the next generation was fully grown and then they became older adults by the time the three were grown up and then it just kinda stayed the same.
