My 74th OC; Donovan. (or Don for short, if he considers you a friend) He's one of my faves, actually... Would anyone be interested if I uploaded a more detailed version of his bio? It's only about a page in length...

Extremely summarized character history;

The reason why he has two different ages above is because he's actually 19, but looks like he's 8. Because of the way he was born/created with magic, he ages half as slow as a regular human. (and has twice the life span)

He was created by a very wicked shade to be his successor, but the shade was defeated by a mage when Don was an infant, and the mage decided to spare the helpless baby even though there was darkness thick in his blood.

The mage had to create a type of 'medicine' so to speak, to neutralize the evil in the boy’s blood. He also created a necklace that helps to contain the darkness he was made from, to give young Donovan free will and the choice to be good. Don wasn't told more than that he is to never remove his necklace at any cost, and that the 'medicine' he had to take every morning kept him from getting 'sick.'

So he was raised to be good, and has no idea about his past. He was made to be elite though, and is basically a child prodigy with extremely sharp wit, but also has very rare gifts with magic. He uses this to make himself appear the appropriate age of 19 when looking like/being treated like a child it getting to be too annoying.

Personality;

- secretly self conscious

- always seeking approval, which makes him very competitive

- antisocial

- his lack of social skills combined with his secret desire to be liked, leaves him bragging more over than he means to. This makes him seem very egotistical, which in ways he is, as he easily lets things go to his head

Originally drawn; almost exactly a year ago again. Finally finished colouring the other day. I was going to upload it like 4 months ago but I forgot to colour his book LOL and didn't manage to get back to it until now.
