Update: Finally found the right fabric to go with the cross stitch, so I did the last of the stitching. Once I lose enough weight to fit into the Henley pattern I have, which shouldn't take long , I'll put it all together.

The design was modified from one of the Mosaic Tiles in Just Cross Stitch Oct 2017 (bottom left).

The design reminded me of an animated fractal where it would bloom in different colors. I chose green because, out here, the leaves come first then the flowers. The colors were the pistachio family; 369, 368, 320, 367, and 319 (light to dark) because I wanted to play on the fractal like design. The fabric was quite simply all I had in the right count.
